Ten Essentials of Successful Touring Routes

This checklist of 10 key factors measures the quality of the visitor experience on a touring route or corridor. A great tool when in the early stages of tour development, to apply to an itinerary that may be part of a package or for operators to assess routes in the area to recommend to guests.

Community Tourism Assessment Index

After using this tool, a community will understand their tourism assets and their capacity to become a sustainable tourism destination. This tool is best completed independently by several community members and an independent assessor who can then share and discuss their assessments.

Best Practices Missions

Working trips of 3 to 5 days focused on themes relevant to communities and destinations, these group trips provide a chance to experience and learn from ‘best in class’.
